With 48 peaks higher than 4000m this country is one of the most mountainous places on earth.
It’s no big secret either that it host some of the worlds best mountain biking.
With the Rhone Valley at an altitude of 450m, there is year round riding to be found in the Valais. Once the snow melts, the real fun starts, and descents of more than 2000m in one go are the standard.
Because of this terrain and many other reasons Ride with the Locals chose the Swiss Valais region as it’s home base.
