Terms and conditions The Blast Epic Enduro Weekends
To confirm your booking, we ask a down payment to be done immediately of €299. The remaining amount should be on our account 2 months before the event latest. If the remaining amount is not received in time, and we receive no reply to the payment reminders, we reserve the right to give your spot to the first rider on the waiting list.
Cancellation by you is possible up to 2 months before the starting date of the event. Up until this date, we will refund 100% of your deposit. If you want to cancel in the 2 months before the event, you will not receive a refund.
Deposits or complete payments are not transferable to another rider.
If the Blast needs to be cancelled for any reason by the organization a full refund will be given within 30 days from the announcement. The official cancellation announcement will be sent by email and/or via MailChimp newsletter. Ride with the locals / The Adventure Factory cannot be held responsible for further costs that are the result of cancelling the trip.
Please understand that the Blast will be taking place on public trails and on regular roads not closed off for the public. Regular laws of the road will apply and you might meet other trail users along the way. Please respect them, and treat them as you would like to be treated.
We trust you that you are aware of the risks of mountain biking and you are properly insured for any risk or injury. If you are not sure if Mountain biking is covered by your insurance, please contact your insurance company or agent.
The organization of the Blast cannot be held responsible for loss of property, injury or theft during the event. The Blast will take place with any weather situation. In extreme weather situations, the organization has the right to shorten or cancel the routes and/or special stages for rider safety.

By booking an activity with Ride with the Locals, you automatically agree with our terms and conditions. We assume you have read and understood those terms and conditions, before you book. If there are any questions after reading the terms and conditions, please go to our contact page.
Down payment is 25% of the total invoice amount, this down payment needs to be transferred directly, and needs to be received by us within 10 days of the invoice date.
The remaining sum needs to be received in our account 6 weeks before the commencing date of the event or holiday. When the total amount is not received, Ride with the locals has the right to cancel the trip, without giving a refund.
You will receive details information about the trip, the exact destination and a checklist at least 6 weeks before the commencing date.
Cancelling by you
It could be possible that you want to cancel the booked activity, Ride with the Locals has the following rules about cancelling your trip:
From the confirmation of the booking up until 8 weeks prior to the commencing date of the activity, we only charge a 35 euro administration fee. The remaining amount will be returned to your bank account.
From 8 weeks until 6 weeks prior to the commencing date the 25% deposit shall not be returned.
If you want to cancel in the last shorter then 6 weeks prior to the commencing date, there will be no refund given.
If only one or a few of the group members wants to cancel, Ride with the Locals can alter the price for the remaining members if the group size becomes smaller then 4 riders.
Cancelling by us
In case of a situation where Ride with the Locals, or the local guide(s) is(are) forced to cancel your trip, a full refund will be offered.
Responsibility
Ride with the locals, or it’s guides are not responsible for any injury, damage or loss of property during any of the activities or trips. During the activities all instructions by the guides should be followed up. Not obeying the instructor will lead to exclusion of the activity. During all activities, you have to wear a helmet. Before starting a we advise you to have your bicycle checked by a qualified mechanic. The riding terrain is demanding and brakes and gears, as the rest of your bike must be in working condition.
Insurance
Before participating in a Ride with the Locals activity, you are responsible for an insurance which covers that activity. You must be able to show proof that you are properly insured. If you are not sure if your insurance covers the activity, please check with your insurance agent.
Change in activity program
Although the activity program is set and discussed in advance, it is always possible last minute changes are made in case of weather influences, rider fatigue or other circumstances. This decision lies with the local guide and does not give you the right for a refund or discount.
Complaints
If you have a complaint regarding any of our trips, the accommodation you are staying in or the guides that guide your trip, please get in touch with us directly. We will do everything to straighten the situation out and solve the issue.
